Main Composition
Typical composition: Ni ≥ 63%, Cu 28–34%, Fe ≤ 2.5%, Mn ≤ 2.0%, with small amounts of C, Si, and S.
Key Characteristics
- Outstanding Corrosion Resistance: Resists corrosion from seawater, brine, hydrofluoric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, alkaline solutions, and most organic media.
- Balanced Strength and Ductility: Moderate strength in the annealed condition, with significantly improved strength after cold working.
- Good Hot and Cold Workability: Suitable for wire drawing, rolling, stamping, and forging, with good weldability.
- Good Low-Temperature Toughness: Not prone to embrittlement in low-temperature environments.
- Essentially Non-magnetic: Can be considered non-magnetic under normal conditions.
