Pure Titanium Sheet – Introduction
Pure titanium sheet is made from commercially pure titanium and is available in grades such as TA1/Gr1, TA2/Gr2, TA3/Gr3 and TA4/Gr4. It features low density (about 4.51 g/cm³), excellent corrosion resistance, good formability, reliable weldability and strong biocompatibility.
TA1/Gr1 offers the best ductility and is ideal for deep drawing and complex forming. TA2/Gr2 provides a balanced combination of strength, corrosion resistance and weldability, making it the most widely used grade. Pure titanium sheets are commonly supplied in annealed condition with 2B, BA, No.4 or pickled surface finishes.
